Our Story

Yesteryear Antiques of Oregon got its start in the spring of 1999. From the very beginning, our passion for antiques and phenomenal customer service have set us apart from our competitors. Over the past two decades it has allowed us to transition from being a small brick and mortar store to one of the largest online dealers of French antiques in the United States. Now, from our two warehouses just outside of Portland, we not only sell locally but ship items across the country and around the globe on a daily basis.

Our Process

We source our antiques directly from European Estates, wholesale dealers and markets across France, Belgium and Holland making multiple buying trips a year. While other buyers may shop the costly markets in Paris and Provence, we’ve gone off the beaten track to establish close, long-term relationships with highly reliable suppliers. The mutual trust we share with our distributors allow us first access to some of the most unique, singular and extraordinary pieces out there.

Our Dedication

We hand select all of our antiques, which are then carefully packed piece by piece into a shipping container by one of our trusted suppliers. When the container arrives at our warehouse, everything again is unpacked by hand. Our antiques are inspected thoroughly before being photographed and listed online. When looking at our products, you can trust that what you see is what you get. We pride ourselves on our superior packaging, using either clean recycled or brand new packing materials. All large pieces are securely packed in a custom-built crates and shipped to your driveway.

We primarily sell on eBay and Etsy, and we are top rated sellers with the highest ratings in our category. We have received thousands of messages of positive feedback from happy buyers, many of whom have been loyal customers for years. As an online business without a retail store front, our prices are some of the best in the industry.
